6 Months Old!

Lleyton has finally reached the half-way mark towards his first birthday! Here are a few of the photos taken by Mummy on Lleyton's six-month birthday...showing the wide range of emotions that Lleyton can portray in a matter of seconds!

Lleyton is becoming a natural in front of the camera. He is now able to maintain eye contact with the camera, and even break into his trademark smile, whenever he sights the camera in front of him.

Lleyton's First "Food"

After the nice cooling swim, Lleyton must be really hungry.. How about some warm rice cereal? Well, it has been Mummy's intention to start him on semi-solid when he approaches 6 months. So it'll be a good time to test if he is ready to use the spoon and swallows his food properly.

Using a sample pack of Nestle Rice Cereal (contributed by Auntie LL), Mummy scooped 1 teaspoon and mixed with a little milk. And here it goes:



Of course, this small amount of cereal wouldn't satisfy this little hungry monster.. he turned to ask mummy for his usual feed of milk (which definitely will not be captured on video!)

Well.. knowing how stern Mummy can be when it comes to feeding (despite the fact that Mummy is rather easy-going with her own food), this serves as a warning to all not to feed Lleyton without obtaining prior permission from her.

Lleyton's First Swim

Here's Lleyton getting ready for the swim.. He put on his pirate's cap, looking like a drunken pirate early in the morning!

Ok.. off we go! Looking cheery and definitely anticipating the nice cool swim in the baby's pool..

Ooh... it's cold... ggrrrrr....Lleyton seemed to have frozen in his "pirate ship". Hmm.. he is not as Garung as how he looked earlier.

Lleyton's 1st bus ride with Mummy & Ah Ma

It was an exciting day for Lleyton, for he has gone on his first SBS bus-ride to Si Ma Lu which is also his grandma's recent favourite hangout!

The passengers on the bus were all smiling at him, but he was constantly looking around... quietly and curiously. Ah Ma was explaining to fellow commuters (who started chatting with Ah Ma) that it was Lleyton's first bus-trip.

After alighting, the first stop was the Guan Yin Temple, followed by Bugis Village then to OG. Of course along the way, Lleyton fell asleep in Mummy's Bjorn a couple of times. After getting dinner for Grandpa and Daddy, Lleyton then boarded another bus and headed home. He was totally exhausted after the 3 hours shopping trip!
