Sydney and Canberra

It was so much fun "tracking" steps amidst the walking in the nice cool weather in Sydney. Staying near the famous sights meant that there would be less time driving around. Daddy suggested walking to Sydney Opera House, walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge (to Luna Park) and to the Rocks Foodie Market. Of course, at the end of every walk, the family would take a good break at the cosy lounge with a scenic view of the harbour.

Llewyn enjoyed himself quite a bit, given that he took part in the "walking" and the "eating" part.

Besides having a go at "electric karting", all 4 of them (except Llewyn) had 2 rounds of "Laser Tag" games. It was definitely one of the more enjoyable event of the trip.

In Canberra, the family visited the Questacon (highly rated) and the Cockington Green Gardens.

Back in Sydney, one night was spent in the Blue Mountains. The resort at Fairmont indeed proved to be very attractive to the kids. They spent a considerable amount of time at the playground and were reluctant to leave.

Shopping at the factory outlet was not too bad either. Most got themselves a pair of sneakers each which made it even more difficult to fit into the luggage.

Overall, it was a relaxing and entertaining trip. Looking forward to the next one!
