Taipei Trip - Day 2

After breakfast, the trio started off the day with a visit to the Sun-Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. This was followed by a leisure stroll to the nearby Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world.

As Lleyton was asleep most of the time, Mummy and Daddy entertained themselves and enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the 88th floor of this Taipei tower.

When Lleyton was awake, he happily posed for the pictures taken next to "Taipei 101". Hasn't he grown so tall within a few days? By the way, the little green toy held by Lleyton is called the Damper Baby..

The next stop was Danshui, which was right at the end of the north line of the Metro track where fisherman's wharf is located. Mummy managed to locate many of the highly "advertised" food including 阿嬤鐵蛋(preserved quail's eggs), 阿給 (tanghoon wrapped in beancurd) and the tall ice-cream which costs only NT20 (S$1). See Lleyton's face when he had a taste of it!

After a quick siesta back in hotel, the recharged trio headed out to Ximending for more shopping and food! This time, there was Fried Chicken (in one big piece), 滷味 & 甜不辣, famous 阿宗麵線 and 蔥抓餅 (which is like roti prata).
